So what is this problem Krishnamurti had, and how others who have the same problem understand or identity with Krishnamurti. Is there a solution to this problem?
The problem Krishnamurti had is known as Schizophrenia. The symptoms of this Schizophrenia is explained well by neuron-scientists. All these symptoms we can find in Krishnamurti.
When Krishnamurti continually suffered from this Schizophrenia, people around him thought that he is undergoing some spiritual change. This 'wired' thinking shows what type of people who were around him, expecting Teaching from this sick person.
Was he diagnosed with Schizophrenia?
When Krishnamurti was young, Schizophrenia was not known to the field of medicine. When he was middle age and old, his condition was recognized as a spiritual 'Process' by his followers, with amazement, veneration and with mysticism, and they called the situation of this sickness as 'The Process' with a definite article of 'The'. Please read all the symptoms of schizophrenia, in the INTERNET, and then read K's Diary, to diagnose the symptoms present in Krishnamurti.
Krishnamurti suffered from this Schizophrenia, or from this 'The process' until his death, as there was no cure, even if they sought such a cure.
The experiencing the effect of Schizophrenia, within and understanding it to a certain extent, formed the central or Core Teaching of Krishnamurti. Everything else in his Teaching amounted to Krishnamurti's attempt to understand the outside world using this inner experience of Fragmented mind caused by Schizophrenia. Hence, all these explanations of his, relating to outside world becomes a 'non-sense'.
Understanding Awareness.
Jiddu Krishnamurti speaks of Awareness as his central theme for solving his problem of suffering, caused by fear, insecurity, doubt, etc. These fear, insecurity, doubt, etc., which are caused by the Fragmented nature of his mind, creating a 'division' within, when he 'thinks'. Therefore, this Fragmented thinking does not generate an Awareness, of the object one thinks of, as in a Healthy person, having a healthy non-fragmented mind.
Is Awareness is a solution to the Problem or an outcome when the problem is no more?
When one 'observes' an object, through any of the six senses, then Mind start to function. Each component of the Mind's functions are themselves are an action. These actions of the Mind's Functions is done one after the other as follows:-
Sensation of the Object -> then Cognition of the Object -> then Memory of an earlier similar Object -> then the Thinking (perceiving) of the Object as a known one or new one.
This Thinking (Perceiving), which is the last action of the function of the Mind, which give rise to the Awareness of the Object, where Awareness is a mental state.
When one is Aware of an object, there is a distance between the Object observed, and the Awareness. The distance being the Mind Function involving, Sensation -> Cognition -> Memory -> Thinking (Perception).
This Awareness is the final out come of the Function of the Mind, if the Mind is Healthy one and therefore functions in it's complete way.
